Born and raised in Cornwall, James loves the southwest & all things cars. Having been in the motor industry since 2004 as a salesman for a locally owned prestige car dealership James ventured on his own to set up a successful used car sales business in 2008. Due to the business's success and organic growth in 2019 both James Bateman & James Lynch decided to join forces & create the business you see today - Bateman & Lynch Cars. Since becoming a team the business has grown & supplied prestige cars throughout the UK to many extremely happy customers. Bateman & Lynch Cars thrive on supplying great value & superb service.
James Lynch - Director
James has deep roots embedded in Cornwall and has now been in the motor trade for 24 years. He started as a Trainee Sales Executive for the local Audi Centre back in 2001. After progressing through the ranks he became General Sales Manager for Audi and ran the sales department for 15 years and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. After achieving all national awards possible with the Audi Brand he decided to realise his dream of setting up his own car dealership. Following conversations with his oldest friend (James Bateman fellow director) it became apparent they shared the same dream to set up a car dealership that could do things differently within the local area and that is exactly the plan we put into place. After joining forces we launched Bateman & Lynch Cars together and haven't looked back. After achieving numerous national awards the business has thrived and organically grown into what you see via the website today. We are very proud to own two purpose built locations in both Cornwall and Devon and have a wonderful selection of cars to offer our clients.
Sam Bruty - Director
Sam started his motor trade Journey as a trainee sales person with Plymouth Audi in April 2012; James Lynch being the current sales manager at that time. Sam had a very successful sales career breaking numerous national records and when James Lynch decided to leave Audi to form Bateman and Lynch cars in Liskeard, Sam stepped into James's shoes as the General sales manager for Plymouth Audi. Sam and James still remaining close friends kept in touch and 3 years later decided to join forces and set up the Tavistock branch which he now runs full time.
